Prom is a crazy time, it's the one day of your teenage life that you really get to feel like royalty and deciding what to wear and how to look can just about be the hardest thing in the world. No 5 - Blake Lively 

Blake Lively is one of God's finest creations - the woman oozes class. (She's married to Ryan Reynolds so she must be doing something right). Seeing black and white dresses through prom is so common! If you want to stand out add a splash of colour! Be brave and bold, this yellow is beautiful for the summer and the fishtail braid adds a further touch of individuality. If there's any way to wear Gucci, i's like Blake.

No 4 - Selena Gomez 

We adore long dresses but short dresses never lack in wow factor! This stunning number from this years Golden Globes is to die for. The dress hugs her figure perfectly and the simple shoes do not draw any attention away from the masterpiece that is her dress. S's hair was actually inspired by this look for our prom! Selena's subtle make up also perfectly suits the dress.

No 3 - Leighton Meester 

Leighton is one of our style icons I mean she is Blair Waldorf after all! This dress screams All Saints to us and it adds the perfect dash of boyish charm to a classy and elegant look. The detailed work on the dress makes it the perfect to be a prom dress yet not too dressy if that's not your style. The strappy sandal heels and the wavy windswept hair along with the natural make up adds  the perfect boho charm to the look.

No 2 - Nina Dobrev

This dress had to be our FAVOURITE Oscars look this year. We  saw the dress and it was love at first sight. There's something so classy and elegant about Nina that she couldn't wear anything wrong but this dress was a total RIGHT. The intricate work on the dress defined by the bold black and white along with the beautiful shape and backless back make for the perfect prom dress. With a dress with a neckline so far up, hair up is the way to go. Her simple pony and lips accompanied by smokey eyes did the dress complete justice. We are still dreaming about this number.

No 1 - Miley Cyrus 

Miley Cyrus in Roberto Cavalli - DAMN is the first thing that popped into our minds. Although we love the new daring Miley who does what she wants and twerks where she wants but we miss this Miley oh so much. LOOK at her. The dress is pure genius, a true work of art! The embroidery, the shape, the colour. It's not even just the dress that makes this look. Her incredible make up and stunning hair complete the look.
