Resolutions.. Who keeps them? No chocolate, less drinking, more motivation? How long are these going to last? A new year shouldn't mean a 'new me'. In the words of Queen Bey 'Ladies we flawless'. But everyone can improve. We want 2014 to be your best year yet, so here's a few things to help you along your way. Watch out 2014 we're here - S and A
1. Re - Organise
An organised room and working space is an organised soul. Knowing what and where everything is has to be one of the best feelings ever. Our wardrobes have been re organised with the new year and what a beautiful sight to wake up to. What's better than a clean room AND more closet space?
2. De - Clutter
Throw it all out. That old sweater you haven't worn since Justin Biebers mop cut? GET RID. Anything you don't need or use throw away or better yet give to charity. Holding onto the past prevents us from moving forward. De - cluttering isn't just about possessions. De - Clutter your life. That guy messing you around? Forget him. The so called friend constantly causing unnecessary drama in your life? Honey she's not your friend. Darlings it's a new year and time to be free and open minded for new opportunities. Anything or anyone holding you back needs to hit the road.
3. Exercise / eat healthy!
What better way to feel better about yourself than to rid of all the fatty, sugary foods in your life! We're not saying you need to completely cut them out of your life, I mean we all know girls can't live without chocolate. But it's unbelievable how much better you feel after you've done a good workout at the gym or gone for a run! There's no need for any toxins in your life so get rid of it while you can! Plus, sugary foods aren't good for your skin so you're killing two birds with one stone! Before you know it, it'll be summer so we need to start acting quick if we want that bikini bod!
4. Shopping
Need we say any more. If you really are going for the whole "new year new me" thing, then the best way to do it is to re-vamp your wardrobe! As girls, we never have too many clothes and the shopping centre is like a second home to us. It makes us feel so good to come home with bags full of goodies, even if we have just completely cleared out our purses...so what are you waiting for? The sales are calling!
