What's in my school bag?

Sure school bags are for books, PE kits and geometry sets but lets face it your bag can be your best friend too. We want to thank everyone to the positive feedback we have had about our newly born blog(please keep it coming!). We are girls of our word and as we said we want to write about what YOU want to read about. So as requested here is what we have in our school bags xoxo - S and A

S's Bag

Headphones

Most of you don't know this but I eat sleep and breathe music. Literally. My mum claims she's heard me sing in my sleep. In order to survive the agonising journeys to school to school I need my headphones or I WILL go crazy!

Vitamin Water

Keeping Hydrated is SO important especially for busy and pressured students. It's  good for your skin and keeps you healthy. I find Vitamin water gives you a little extra boost and is a little more interesting than normal water. It's also low calorie which is always a plus.

Make-Up Bag

A make-up bag is essential for a quick touch up, you never know who you'll bump into or when your picture will be taken.

Deodorant

We are constantly walking around, in PE and stressing about so carrying deodorant is necessary! BO is not hot and I find Sure keeps me sweat stain free and smelling fresh all day!

Pencil Case

This one is kind of obvious but you'd be surprised how many people don't bring one. But here on Our Side Of Paradise our motto is to always be prepared and if that means with colours and pens at the ready then that is how we roll. I like to keep my stationary in this cute Harrods pencil case I got in London last Summer.

A's Bag

Water & Lunch Box

Keeping hydrated throughout the day is important and water is very good for you! That's why i make sure that everyday i take my plain water to school (I'm not posh like S with her vitamin water!) Also, it's super important that you eat during lunch and break times because we all know how embarrassing it is sitting in a quiet classroom while your stomach starts impersonating a whale!

Pencil Case

One of the most annoying things in the world is forgetting to take your pencil case to school because it's one thing that is needed all day! I love my pretty Kath Kidston pencil case and it's the perfect size to fit all my supplies!

Make-Up Bag and Body Spray

Make-up is every girls necessity as we all need that little touch up every now and then! Make-up rubs off so easily at school that it is a MUST for your school bag! I take my Ted Baker body spray to school everyday as it smells AMAZING and smelling good is very important!

Headphones

Like S, i also would not be able to live without my music which is why i have my headphones with me at all times! My journey to school would be very lonely without blasting Bruno Mars in my ears - such a great way to wake up!

Purse

Us girls love a cute after school Costa date, and sometimes they can be very last minute which is why i take my purse everyday in case any last minute plans pop up!
